He admitted that he had frittered away a great deal of life \u00a0on very little, wasting it as he said. Almost his last words were, &#8220;It has gone by so quickly.&#8221;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>He was a fine fellow and a talented musician, but he refused to grow up. The rest of us were almost jealous of him as he appeared so unconcerned with jobs, mortgages and planning for the future.<\/p>\n<p>He had two sons from an unhappy and brief marriage, that were his everything and for that I am glad.<\/p>\n<p>I just wish he had stopped smoking sooner.<\/p>\n<p>We had a marvellous time in the Whiskey Sours band in the Yorkville of the sixties. He was our base guitar.<\/p>\n<p>Goodbye my friend.<\/p>\n<p>He was 66.<\/p>\n<p>R.I.P.
