Major’s ravings May 10th Butter tarts

There is a rumour at the club today that there may be butter tarts for “afters” at lunch today. Oh boy!

I must watch my waistline therefore may not have more than three. I insist on the mental strength to say “No” after three and not to falter. Two Martinis and three butter tarts is almost more than enough for one day most would say. However and here is the salient point, butter tarts are not served everyday. An air-tight rebuttal me thinks.
