Are we surprised by the news of another “work stoppage” at B.C. schools? Yawn.
Are there no grownups in charge anymore? If there were, students would not be involved. I ask the question once again, what is the definition of an “essential service”? Is there no sense of guilt involved anymore? If these two sides were in charge of everything, would they next turn off our water for our own good, or stop bread delivery because the trucks have no wi-fi?
Yet the government signed these foolish contracts over the years while the hardest part for the “Teachers” was to hide their astonished smiles.
I realize no one is happy in this very lucky country of ours where alleged disrespect is apparently right up there with animal abuse. “Oh dear , someone looked at us strangely”. Boo Hoo.
A pox on both of their houses as I have no sympathy for either side. It is equally their fault.
SHAME.
