It was announced today that the Tug Boat union is about to go on strike. Now obviously the islands surrounding us will be terribly affected and not in a good way. Sigh. Not unlike the current Teachers strike, I ask the question again: What is an essential service?

Went past a high school today and it looked like it was “Brothel Day”. Many girls were dressed in tiny shorts that left very little  to the imagination with the boys losing their jeans. What sort of school is it?

The club (the home of homes) is a microcosm of society, representing perhaps the stranger bits of said society, but a representation nevertheless. As in everyday life, here too the mems of all shades wish to keep their youthful looks as long as they can. I could be unkind and say that in many cases the race is lost and the audience long since departed.
